Chicago, notorious every summer for holding the largest free blues festival in the world, raises winter’s temperature this year with an announcement from Buddy Guy’s Legends to host the first annual Legends Winter Blues Fest.
Buddy’s infamous blues club, Buddy Guy’s Legends on Wabash Avenue in Chicago, captivates every visitor craving the cream of authentic blues and the sumptuous soul food the club serves up and is a natural and perfect home for the first Legends Winter Blues Fest in December 2013.
The six day festival starts thawing out the city on Sunday December first, with the finest of entertainment everyday, all day long, through Friday December sixth.
On the schedule Wednesday December fourth at 8pm is Australian blues artist Michael Charles performing original music from his repertoire of twenty-nine releases.  Charles originally traveled across the ocean in the late eighties at the invitation of Legend’s to perform on the stages of this premier Chicago blues club.  Privileged to be performing in the home of, and next to his hero, Mr. Buddy Guy,  not much time passed before MC decided to remain in this great city and launch his musical career in the USA.  Twenty some years later Michael Charles once again experiences an equal honor by performing at the first Winter Chicago Blues Festival at Buddy Guy's Legends.
Be a part of Chicago’s musical history and mark this week on your calendar so in twenty years you‘ll be saying “I was at the first annual Legends Winter Blues Festival”!
Buddy Guy’s Legends is also officially announcing Gigty TV!!  Watch every performance from the First Chicago Winter Blues Fest (and more) on live steam through Gigty TV at
